The LPT Procedure
Dr Vaughn or Dr Flores will schedule a complete exam and explain how the laser works and give you a demonstration. Next, X-rays will be made to make a definitive diagnosis and determine the extent of the infection. When you return for your first LPT treatment, you'll receive a local anesthetic to eliminate any possible discomfort. A sedative may also be prescribed prior to the appointment to relieve any anxiety.
